How to make your character

1. When you go to register, your username should be the name of your character. First and last are recommended, unless your character does not have a last name.

2. If you want to make an OOC (out of character) account, your username should be as such: OOC Yourname. Note that OOC accounts are not required, but some people simply prefer to have them, especially when they make a lot of characters.




3. In the menu at the top of the page, click "Profile", and then "Edit Profile".

4. You may select an avatar, preferably one that shows the appearance of your character, either from a file on your computer or an existing link. No pornography, please.

5. Next, go to the "Personal" tab. This includes your display name, which should already be your character's name, and shouldn't have to be changed after registration. You can also include a signature, be it an image or anything you'd like, so as long as it is appropriate and doesn't stretch the page.

6. The good stuff starts off at the drop-down menu that is labeled "Standing". Is your character a slave, master, or neither? From there on down are the fields relating to your character's information. Once you've saved that, you're ready to get started in the world of Black Sunshine!

7. Please keep your profile as simple as possible. Too long a history will result in the profile stretching downward, which doesn't look very good.

REQUESTING BOARDS

8. If you want to request more boards to post in, say a venue your character owns or something along those lines, send me a PM. Include the title of the board (also title of the establishment), and a brief description. I reserve the right to deny a request, depending on if we have enough of the same thing (night clubs, things like that).
